Casa Fuzetta is an exceptional private home in the heart of the authentic fishing town of Olhão, in the unspoilt eastern Algarve, Portugal.
The house is available to rent on an exclusive basis throughout the year for wellness retreats, corporate retreats, special celebrations, multi-generational holidays and photo shoots.
It is ideal for large families*, friends and groups seeking a high-end, yet relaxed, private and intimate location for time together, special occasions and/or retreats. The house has capacity to sleep 22 in style and comfort, with no compromise on space or service. We have 11 double bedrooms each with beautiful ensuite bathrooms plus an additional bedroom with ensuite. *(with children aged 8 years or more)
Casa Fuzetta is a historic townhouse located in the heart of Olhão’s old town. Originally, a classical gentleman’s residence, it was lovingly restored over a three year period, between 2014 and 2016. We called upon the skills of the local craftsmen and artisans to create a property that balances the heritage of its architecture with contemporary design and comfort- including a spectacular rooftop pool! Throughout, we used a palette of natural colours and materials – white, stone, wood and linens, aiming to create a space in which everyone can feel at ease the moment they walk through the door…
Located in the heart of Olhão’s old town , the fabulous markets and a wide selection of family run restaurants are within easy walking distance of the house – as are the ferries and taxis to the outlying islands. When you book with us, we will send you a link to the app we have created for houseguests, with maps and suggestions on the best places to eat and visit both in Olhão and the wider area.
Casa Fuzetta has a dedicated local houseteam available to offer support during your stay, and the owner, Tara, offers experienced advice to retreat leaders and hosts, including extensive local knowledge and contacts, to ensure every guest enjoys “everyday magic”. Detailed planning resources are available for retreat leaders and corporate planners on request.

Almost, best of all, the house is no more than 15 minutes drive from Faro international airport – well served, all year round by multiple airlines. The Algarve is one of the few areas in Europe to enjoy 300 days of sunshine per year!
